Dear riders & teams,
We are very happy to announce the biggest Slovenian MTB event next to world cup – Itak Bike Fest that will be held in Kranjska Gora/Slovenia on 17/18 July. Kranjska Gora is a venue known from the DH European Championships in 2009, this year we will do a national cup event, but in both DHI and XCO. Next to that we will also organized races for kids in both disciplines and pump challenge. Kranjska Gora is located very close to Italy and Austria and is easy to go to.
Race will be held in bike park in Kranjska Gora on the weekend of 17/18 July 2010. We expect that the event will be biggest national race of the season, since it is organized on the high level and is only double event in the national calendar. There will be over 1400 EUR of prize money for the whole weekend. Organizer of the event is Cycling team Rajd, that was one of the co – organizers of the European champs and organizer of more than 30 national events in Slovenia; recently the team is internationally know as the management team of UCI MTB team Unior Tools Team.
