Do you have website with database of road (asphalted) climbs in Czech Republic and Slovakia?

I'm close to Trinec now. What are most in interesting climbs in that area except Lysa Hora and Pustevny?

    [Google Translator]

Máte webové stránky s databází silnice (asfaltový) stoupá v České republice a na Slovensku?

Jsem blízko do Třince teď. Jaké jsou nejvíce zajímavé výstupy v této oblasti s výjimkou Lysou horu a Pustevny?

Not sure if there's a database as such and haven't been around your neck of woods for a while, but we had a thread about 1000m plus (top altitude) road climbs here recently:

http://www.bike-forum.cz/…-vrchol.html …a bit wordy, but you might recognise some local names in there..

Other than that Strava might help, pick someone who's obviously a roadie and have a look at their rides… Plus maybe chat to other cyclists while having a recovery Radegast on top of Lysa or Pustevny?

Thank you for all your aswers. We have excellent database of all Polish road climbs and many European at www.altimetr.pl. Everybody is welcome to contribute adding their climbs and because lots of Polish cyclists visit Czech and Slovakia you will probably find many of your climbs there. Unfortunately the owner of the website refused to add multilanguage interface so for now it is only in Polish. It includes profile of each climb, map and Strava segment if available. I know there many databases of this kind but there were all done by cyclist from Western Europe so there were all mising many Eastern European climbs.

Moravskoslezskie Beskidy region unfortunately has 4 climbs there for now:

      http://www.altimetr.pl/…orawski.html

I don't know if you are aware but there is a Challenge BIG website where members can collect most of the hardest road climbs in Europe. so far there wasn't many in Eastern Europe as founders of that site are Belgians but now they decided to assign some more to Eastern Europe. Last meeting was few years ago in Tatras. Any members of Challenge BIG here?

Recovery beer can never be refused :)

No it wasn't. I'm not the owner of the website and have no association with it except that I added some climbs. The guy who does the website doesn't do any advertising. It is handy in my opinion to have such a database that's why I ask if you have any. Same as Climbbybike and some others. I wish he would agree to add some more languages so more people can add climbs. Or maybe Strava will come up with something.

Tomorrow we plan to do Lysa Hora and Maly Javorovy vrch as we stay in Bystrica.

Challenge BIG website (www.challenge-big.eu) list following Czech climbs:

      Pancir, Klet (Sumava)

      Vrbatova Bouda, Spindlerova Bouda (Krkonose)

      Suchy Vrch (Orlicke Hory?)

      Cervonohorske Sedlo, Praded (Jeseniki)

Unfortunately their choice of climbs is sometimes difficult to understand.

I climbed all the above but also some others that should be on „must climb“ list for the country like Klinovec or Dlouhe Strane. In fact most of Jeseniki climbs as this is one my my favourite spots. Maybe you guys should put these climbs all together in one Czech website…In fact I'm surprised nobody didn't. You have so many.

I'm aware of climbs at climbbybike. Unfortunately it seems nobody verified them and some are off-road or completely not existing climbs from my experinece. Their database is a complet mess.

Fellow cyclist form Cieszyn tipped me about climbs in Moravskoslezskie Beskidy. Here they are:

      Lysa Hora from Prazmo

      Pustevny from Horni Becva

      Maly Javorovy Vrch from Trinec

      Bahenec from Pisk

      Loucka from Bistrica

      Kamenna chata from Most

      Godula+Ropicka from Komorno

      Grun from Stare Hamry

      Sulov from Stare Hamry

      Velky Ondrejnik from Frendstat

During 3 days we did loop from Bystrice to Lysa Hora through Prazmo, one from Bystrice-Bukovec-Hrcava-Milikov and one Bystrice – Kamenna chata – Hrcava – Trojmezi- Pisek – Bahenec. Great area, great asphalted roads. My 11-year old son climbed Lysa Hora without stopping once. Great performance and great climb. I'll be back :)
